Bring mindfulness into the workplace.
Mindfulness is not a silver bullet. But with practice and over time (like exercise) it can lower stress and increase ‘executive attention’ and the energy of your employees. It can help improve focus and overall well-being so you can create healthier human connections within your company. Healthy human connections start with healthy humans
Over 8 weeks, 45 minutes per week, you’ll learn:
- The simple scientific formula for unwinding the stress and anxiety that often permeates throughout work and life.
- Mindfulness tools and techniques that have the ability to lower stress, increase energy, and improve attention.
*Participants receive additional (optional) support from the Unwinding Anxiety app, from MindSciences.
Your facilitator, Donna Rustigian Mac, studied with Dr. Judson Brewer, Founder of Mindsciences, and Director of Research and Innovation at the Mindfulness Center at Brown University in Providence, R.I. 2020-2023. Donna has been immersed in the business of communication for over 30 years. She’s a certified Mindfulness teacher (2018) and a qualified MBHC change facilitator (2021)
Stress can build through:
- A FULL mind (overload)
- Excessive use of electronics
- Consistant distractions
- Avoiding conflict and connections
- Focusing on things you can’t control
- Overthinking
Stress can diminish through:
- Mindfulness (awareness)
- Greater ability to focus
- Cultivating the skill of become more curious
- Noticing tension in the body
- Asking for what you want/need
- Limiting electronic consumption
We don’t diminish stress and build stronger human connections by watching a video, reading about it in a book, or listening to a lecturer. In these sessions, you can learn about becoming more mindful, in business and life, AND we’ll teach you how to practice independently.
Actively participate in these sessions or just listen and learn.
Mindfulness takes time and patience. Learning mindfulness will provide you many more tools to improve your energy level and attention span, plus manage the stress that so often hinders work and life.
